Always wanted to try your hand (uh foot) at hiking in the Drakensberg Mountains of KwaZulu Natal, but lacked the resources.
Hike the Berg offers you the chance to make this a reality by providing all the equipment needed:
BACKPACK * SLEEPING BAG * SLEEPING MAT * TENT (2/3 PERSON if needed)
COOKING SET * COOKING FUEL * CUTLERY/CROCKERY * FOOD FOR ALL MEALS
UP TO 20 PARTICIPANTS (PLUS ONE OR TWO FACILITATORS) CAN BE ACCOMMODATED ON ANY TRIP.
Nick Greville is a highly qualified and vastly experienced guide. He was the co-founder and co-director of Enviro Ventures, an Environmental and Adventure Centre located in the Central Drakensberg. During his nine years with the company, over 25000 people participated in one or more of the activities on offer. By far, the most popular, was the overnight/two night hike into the mountains. Many school children ranging in age from 10 - 18 years, students, corporate groups, staff development groups, holidaymakers and overseas visitors can testify to this.
