Cathedral Peak Area - a typical itinerary would be:
Day One: Set off from hotel car park, cross river and ascend Little 'Berg to reach Barker's Chalet. Set up camp and relax or explore the nearby indigenous bush and stream. Supper and sundowners from lookout point.
Day Two: Early breakfast. Set off on day hike to the summit of Cathedral Peak (3000m). Return via same route. Recovery time or abseiling for those who still have the energy! Sundowners, supper and bed.
Day Three: Leisurely breakfast, break camp and descend to car park.
Monk's Cowl Area - a typical itinerary would be:
Day One: Set off from car park and ascend through the area of Protea and sandstone cliffs. Set up tents near stream. Supper and sundowners.
Day Two: Breakfast. Break camp and set off. Ascend little 'Berg via Jacob's Ladder. Enjoy spectacular views from the summit. Leisurely paced hike to Three Pools Cave. Lunch and relax or, spend the afternoon abseiling from the cave wall. Sundowners, supper and bed.

Day One: Set off from campsite to first night sleepover in Grindstone Cave. Easy ascent through indigenous forest and protea belt. Prepare evening meal while enjoying sundowners.
Day Two: Breakfast, break camp and set off heading towards spectacular views of the the Injisuthi Escarpment. Steep descent to Marble Baths Cave. Set up camp, lunch and enjoy the most incredible natural "supertube" that forms this part of the Marble Baths Stream. Supper and sundowners.
Day Three: Breakfast, break camp and return.

Highmoor Area - a typical itinerary would be:
Day One: Meet at Highmoor Car Park. . Set off for Aaasvoelkrans Cave. En route, refresh and enjoy the scenery at the waterfall. Arrive at cave. Set up camp. Lunch. swim, relax. Supper, bed.
Day Two: Breakfast. Setting up of abseil on nearby cliff face. Optional abseiling session for the brave! Recommended - two or more turns!
Lunch and afternoon at leisure. Sundowners, supper, chat and bed.
Day Three: Breakfast, break camp. Return to base.
mKhomazi Area - a typical itinerary would be:
Day One: Meet at KZN uMkhomazi office. A short hike brings you to the Cyprus Caves - the larger of the two situated behind a waterfall. The second cave is some 50m downstream. Both caves boast their own pools!
Day Two: Day of leisure. Exploring the nZinga River. Abseiling or waterslide fun!
Day Three: Breakfast, break camp, return to base.
Garden Castle Area - a typical itinerary would be:
_ Day One: The route takes
us through the Garden Castle Forest Station and follows a gentle gradient
alongside the beautiful Mashai
River. Four crossings
later, the path begins to ascend fairly steeply through the most incredible
scenery. Arrive at Sleeping Beauty Cave.
Collect water. Explore. Supper and bed.
Day Two: After breakfast, a hike to the viewsite situated above the cave. Return. After lunch, swim and water games in the nearby pool. Relax. Return. Sundowners, supper.
Day Three: Breakfast. Pack up and return to car park.
